Founding Art Funky

Cynthia Calhoun (she/her) is the founder of Art Funky, a one-woman creative and spiritual studio where design, intuition, and heart-centered connection meet.

Storytelling and Symbolism

She believes deeply in the power of symbols, storytelling, and the unseen language underneath both. Cynthia has worked with Tarot for many years, and more recently began sharing it more publicly through readings and creative video work. This naturally extends her background in meditation teaching and her ongoing work with chakra and energy healing.

Art Funky began in 2022 as a creative design studio focused on crafting authentic, thoughtful websites and visuals for small business owners who value originality and personal connection. Cynthia intentionally kept her client base small so she could offer care and attention to each project, weaving in a human touch that larger agencies often miss.

Renaissance Woman

Over time, her work has evolved beyond design alone. Cynthia is a Renaissance Woman in the most lived sense of the word. Her creative toolkit includes web and graphic design, videography, content creation, and intuitive healing practices. Her background is eclectic: a Master’s in K–12 Education, experience teaching Spanish, leading technology workshops, and years of hands-on work with tools like WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, WooCommerce, and more.

Personal Practice

At the center of it all is a long-standing personal practice as an empath and intuitive. For over a decade, Cynthia has used tarot and deep meditation as tools for clarity, reflection, and navigating life’s complexity. These threads now weave together in her current work: tarot archetype video series, mandala creation (both digital and hand-drawn), and the development of her own tarot deck.

Whether she’s designing a visual identity, painting a mandala, guiding a chakra meditation, or interpreting tarot archetypes through film, Cynthia’s work comes from the same place: creativity and spirituality as forms of healing and self-understanding.

Collaboration
