Art Funky is a company founded by Cynthia Calhoun in 2022. Its mission is to create authentic, exceptional web and graphic designs for busy small business owners.
Cynthia says, “I am a company of one.” That is to say, Art Funky is a business that is run by a woman who aims not for fame, but for deeper service, and a greater truth of expression through design and building relationships.
In fact, building relationships is so central to Cynthia’s business model that she intentionally keeps her business and client base small so that she can give individualized attention to each person or company with whom she works.

WordPress Site Design
I design websites using WordPress and the Divi Page Builder. In tandem with server-level caching, I can build a fast, responsive site.
Design Prototypes
Maybe you just want a concept. Or you already know a developer who can code your site. I can create web designs in Photoshop or Adobe XD to send to your developer.
Logo Design
Just need a simple logo? This basic package includes jpg and png images for print and web, as well as PDF versions.
Complete Brand Kit
Want more than a logo? I can build a whole brand kit for you that includes different types of logos for vertical and horizontal spaces, a branding handbook, letterhead, business card templates, and website banners.

Bio
Cynthia wasn’t always a digital marketer and designer. In fact, she started out teaching Spanish. Her teaching involved plenty of creativity and working with technology, however. She loved dabbling in technical pursuits, even leading digital technology workshops for other language teachers.
Cynthia decided it was time to go from “dabbling” to “serious” and become a creative solopreneur. She started digital content writing with a focus on SEO in 2011. In 2012, she built a blog on a new WordPress site. She learned the ins and outs of creating a WordPress site, using different themes, learning more about SEO, social media marketing, and email marketing. Over the years, she learned more technical aspects of maintaining a WordPress website, including using staging sites, WooCommerce, and more. Along the way, she learned HTML, CSS, videography and graphic design. She is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and PremierePro.
She started ArtFunky in June 2022 as a web design and design company after freelancing for a number of clients. She continues to have new clients seek out her services for a variety of graphic design and web needs, from e-commerce companies to non-profits.
